Good info Gary! After a check on the net, came up with BK540 being a Wellington Mk.III coded AL-C (see Lee's 'Wellington advice wanted' thread for details)

Trackend, if you have the 429 log, is there any mention of a bomb aimer named Al or Pappy Stothart, 1943 to 1945? First in Wellingtons than Lancasters.
 
Thanks for the details guys. I've just recently done a bit of family research and found that my great uncle was Eric Kelvin Hart, one of those lost on 29 March 1943 on BK540. He was the air bomber on this mission. I often wondered what had happened to him and now I know after all these years. Thanks again. RIP.
