Picked this hard-bound book up last summer at a used book store.

Pretty good book with some real interesting facts.

The book is broken down into seven categories:
    Puzzling Events,
    Odd Coincidences,
    Curious Happenings,
    Uncanny Riddles
    People Who Vanished,
    Peculiar Premonitions,
    Strange Encounters

It is pretty well researched information with 238 pages and a decent offering of photos (and a few maps).

I thought it was a worthwhile read and would be a nice addition to anyone's collection.

This edition was printed in 1997: ISBN 0-7394-0846-1

Sounds interesting! I'll keep an eye out for it, next time I'm in a bookstore.

And the wife lets me spend some money.
