unknown FW 190 part

Found this one at the crashplace of a FW 190. On the black rotary knob there stands -/+ 30kHz. It made me think for a radio or navigation part. Dimensions are about 10 x 9 x 5 cm. Any ideas are welcome. Thanks - Kurtl
