Urban Drew - Detroit Miss II

I was also very interested in Urban L. "Ben" Drew's subsequent service in the Pacific Theater. I found several photos of his P-47N-5RE "Jug." Unfortunately, there's no close-up of the inscription on his Thunderbolt, but it's certain that the inscription on the hull read "Detroit Miss II," and the modifications to his "Jug" clearly indicate that he couldn't carry Bazooka launchers under the wings—instead, he had five HWAR zero-launch rocket launchers under each wing. I hope this information will be useful to some of my colleagues.
