US Fighter Armament and Armorers info wanted.

I am looking for books, Field Manuals, first hand knowledge of how US fighter planes were armed and maintained during World War 2. Specifically how the fighters guns, sights, and other weapons were maintained and installed and tools that were used and such. Main interest would be for the P-51, P-47, and P-38, but any US Fighters ifor would be appreciated.
So far I have done some Google searching and found little information other that one book called "They Also Serve: An Armorer's Life in the ETO " which I have on order, but am looking for more inforation on Armors and the job they performed.

Go to this link below and find the P-51 maintance and erection manual and download it. About 3/4 of way into it describes how to harminize the guns, trouble shoot and such.
