Back in June I got to visit the battleship USS Missouri at Pearl Harbor. Such a beautiful ship in an amazing location in view of the USS Arizona Memorial. It's kind of fitting. Where it all began for the US with the attack on Pearl Harbor, and where it ended with the Japanese surrender.

Thank you for the tour. I have been a fan of the Mighty Mo since the early 70's. One of my first books from my father was on this ship. I still have it. If I knew that it would be pulled out of months ball in 84, I woud have taken a commisson from the Navy and not the Army. Gunnery office on a 16 inch turrent or 105 mm cannon on a tank...biggest bang for the bucks....
