Vans....?

Remember reading a magazine in Sweden back in the day, 4 Wheel Drive, all about 4x4 and vans...

Just thought of something, are vans still as popular as back then, with those amazing and sometimes crazy paint jobs and interiors?
Has it died down after the custom van craze that occurred during the mid to late 70s and early 80s?

I think that the "shine" has faded on the Van craze (at least for now)...what with Mini-vans (very uncool) and the so called "rape-van" (any windowless van, driven by a male), people seem reluctant to explore the world on Vanning.
