Hello,
just wanted to wish a Merry Christmas and a Sweet New Year to all Christmas-celebrating members here!
Here is two pictures with this theme.
The first one is a Christmas Eve table of Czechoslovak soldiers in France in 1939:
And this one is a momentum photo taken on 24th Dec (usually celebrated as Christmas in Czechoslovakia). The depicted persons are Czechoslovak RAF pilots (I still didn't researched who...)
Both pictures were taken by the most-known Czechoslovak pilot/photographer Ladislav Sitenský, who served with the 312 Squadron, so probably the 2nd picture is from this unit as well. I also think that these two pictures are published for the very first time!
In Czech, we say Veselé Vánoce!
