I have stood right under the Thunderbirds flying the F-4, back in the days when they could fly right over the audience. And they were not as noisy as four F-18 in a very tight formation going low overhead.

Many years ago, I lived near MCAS El Toro and you could always tell (or feel, depending on where you happened to be) when a Phantom was in the area!

I saw Byron live once, I don't know what impressed me more, his shooting abilities, or his wife that held items for him to shoot at. I think in his act he stated something like she was his 9th wife with a little smirk on his face, insinuating that the previous 8 met with some unfortunate "accident"

Was so relaxing last night at the range that I'm going to head over again tonight. I used to shoot almost every day, but got away from it for a while. Time to start again.

This has been a memorable week for me. I have never dispensed so much money in such a short length of time. On Monday almost $29K to the Feral Govt, to pay the part of last years taxes they had not collected yet and I had not sent them as well as advance payments for next year. And today another $15K went out the door so my brother can put a new roof on his house, adding it to the $15K I had already sent him. All total this week almost $44K, which is considerably more than even when I paid off my house early. Hell, that's almost half what I paid for my house in 1993!
Need to find a big sale on pork and beans, so I can still eat regularly.

Slept till noon 
(I am on call 16/7, but I mainly work the late-night thru early morning period).
Ate a sandwich.
Went to Perkins and drank coffee for abut 3.5 hrs, while using up some of their internet electrons with my computer.
Went to the grocery store and got groceries.
Came home.
Ate a banana.
Currently sitting on the computer, typing this, using up my neighbor's internet electrons (I asked for permission and they are OK with it).
Will probably take a nap in a little bit, so I am sure to be wide awake later.
Maybe watch some TV later - after my nap.
Eat something.
Work on some physics/math stuff - possibly(probably) while I am eating or watching TV (or on the internet).
All the while waiting to hear from work.

Whilst still dealing with Hemorrhoids (getting better, but still...ouch!), also catching up on a million tv shows I've taped and have yet to watch, while listening to a song on YT and surfing the net (as in, posting here)...so...multi-tasking. =)
