I listen to a variety of music whilst out in the garage modeling, this week it is deep ska, a playlist of Jamaican music (Mento, Calypso, Ska, Rocksteady, Reggae and Dub) stretching from the 1940's to the early 1980's when I reckon Jamaican music lost it's soul.
Although that's this week, last week it was early Black Sabbath, the week before that, Rage Against the Machine.
Many of the hits of the forties and fifties would upset the 'pc police' and leave them gasping for air.
An example would be the Andrews Sisters song Rum and Coca Cola.
This is a serious ear worm for me right now. Been "singing" it for nearly a week now. Much to the "delight "of my wife and kids, whose names I slip into the song to increase their "enjoyment"!
Gladiator - particularly tracks: 2-The Wheat, 5-Sorrow and 11-Reunion

Green Card - particularly tracks: 2-Instinct and 10-Instinct II
