What type of Guitar finish.

That is a dark Indian Rosewood fingerboard stuck to a roasted curly maple neck. I finished the neck with several coats of Tru-oil gunstock finish, buffed with an old t-shirt. Made for a very smooth finish.
Got the neck from Warmoth for a very good price several years before I ordered the body. I do need to get a better neck plate for it though as the one I bought from a Reverb seller has got some nasty tarnishing going on for some reason.

Welcome aboard Leee, or should it be Lee with 2 instead of 3 e's? I assume MLP is the My Les Paul forum and not My Little Pony

Workbench cleaning still in progress, it was a bigger disaster area than I thought, plus I piled up all my ice fishing equipment in there after I took it out of the truck a month back. Weather looks to be kinda crappy all weekend, so I hope to finish straightening up and then putting copper shielding tape in the pickup/control cavities in the Tele build.
I think I'll concentrate on getting that one done, then work on the Les Paul clone.

OK, got the workbench cleaned of last night and took some pictures.
First up is closeups of the neck. It's a it a Roasted (torrefied) piece of curly maple with a rosewood fingerboard. Fretboard is compound radiused 10-16". I finished the back of the neck and headstock with Birchwood-Casey True-oil which is a gun stock finish, but many guitar builders use it as well. I put several coats on (I forget how many), sanded with a white scotch-brite pad between. Last couple coats I just put a very light coat and then burnished with an old worn out t-shirt.
Added some Kluson Deluxe tuners. Started tapping the bushings in with a rubber mallet, then seated them fully in a drill press. Just turned the chuck closed and turned it down into the bushings till they seated flush to the headstock. Worked pretty slick, just make sure you have the right size bushing for the tuner holes or it will crack.

Next are a few closer pictures of the body. Main body is a piece of roasted alder. I had them leave the back and sides of the body natural, but had them route chambers in the body.
Top is a piece of Curly maple, they used dye to color it red and left the edge natural to simulate binding.

Next up is to add sticky back copper shielding tape to the back of the pickguard and in the pickup and control cavities. Hope to start that tonight and probably finish it up tomorrow.

Found a picture on Warmoths page showing how the body is chambered. I'm re-thinking the chambering as the process of Roasting removes moisture, thus makes the wood lighter anyway, probably overkill lightening it further with the chambers. We'll see what it sounds like when it's finished.
