The one I know is Air Technical Service Command (Army not USAAF). Does it make sense in your document?

Has the meaning of acronym changed? It used to mean a pronounceable abbreviation, like radar. Kinda hard to pronounce ATSC.

I believe that's why our missileers refer to GLSDBs as "goobers".

This acronym definitely stands for Air Technical Service Command and this acronym was also used by the USAF for a period after the war.
