Hello if you look real close at the second photo, there is the title 98th SeeBees painted below art work, have you tried googling this unit?
there is also a site you can try b25.net or [email protected]
Good luck and let me know if you get an ID !

Also note in the photo that has a B-25 in background with stripe on tails,I think this is one of the specific Group's markings.

At the base of my post is a link to the cartoonist who painted the plane that is about all I can find out on him other that he did paint a lot of nose art during the war.

Did you try the B-25 sites I posted? that should get you some replies.

I came across it was on Morotai in 1945.

Possibly the 13th AF

Looking at the B-25 Groups based on the island the 38th 42nd Bomber Groups pops up.

DB, I just noticed your quote in your signature. "Airplane" is the greatest movie ever!

Found a book with the plane possibly it's left hand side? Maybe?

Looks like it was with the 41ST bomb group.

Well based off this picture the aircraft is with the 820TH bomb squadron you can just see the bottom of the black vertical stripe.

Some times the answer is right in front of you & you don't see it.
