To be honest, it isn't PZL.23 Karaś. It is PZL.43A that was a development of the Karaś. The plane was named Czajka ( Chaika - lapwing ). The bomber in the pic was one of 6 Bulgarian planes ready to send from Poland to Bulgary in the September 1939. These six PZL.43As were going to be taken over by the Polish Air Force. Unfortunately the one was damaged during struggling at the Okęcie factory and captured by Germans. Here a couple of other shots. The another one was captured in the Okęcie airdock.
