Nose looks German
Rotors look Kaman or Kamov
Tail looks Beech
Retractable gear suggests built for speed
No sign of engine intake and exhaust unless exhaust is just behind the main gear

Thanks Graeme

That article is interesting as the design was actually prewar and it is probably the only French aircraft of the period that the designers did not bash almost to death with an UGLY stick.

Amazing!

There would be B-52s that participated in both conflicts - ?
Nope.

The B-52s that participated in Vietnam were all the earlier models (specifically the -D, -F, & -G).

The last Vietnam-veteran Superfortresses were B-52Gs - and the last one of those left service in 1994 (after making combat strikes in Iraq during Desert Storm in 1991).

The B-52H (102 delivered to the USAF from 9 May 1961-26 Oct. 1962) is the only model left in service, and no B-52H ever entered the Vietnam combat theatre, instead being devoted solely to the Nuclear Deterrent role. The B-52H made its combat debut on September 3, 1996, when a pair of B-52Hs from the USAF's 2nd BW launched 13 AGM-86C cruise missiles against targets in southern Iraq.

Just looking at the first picture and it's design I just knew it would be French...
