Which fighters by start of 1945 had the best roll rates

Thats a point lanc, biplanes. The CR.42 and Gladiator must have had great roll rates. But if were talking monoplanes only then the Series 0 Italian fighters (MC.200, G.50, Re-2000) would be up there too.
I would have agree with Davidicus, Republic P-47 Thunderbolt would have been in Top Ten Lists (Including P-47N) and Lockheed P-38 Lighting as well too.

I wasn't too sure IF that true that early Focke Wulf FW 190As has better roll rate than Supermarine Spitfire XIV?
Not if we're talking about the start of 1945.
1945 would be the Spitfire XXI! Best roll rate was the Fw-190D, nothing could beat it at most speeds. The P-38L was up there for high speeds. Spitfire XXI had an impressive roll. P-47N with them too. I imagine the Me-163 would be pretty impressive at rolling, along with the He-162.
