Anyone know of or ever seen any official documents on wingman tactics in WWII (by any side)?

I don't know if there were instructions issued for the individual wingman, but there certainly were instructions for fighter formations and the responsibilities of wingmen to their leaders; this is one of the earliest I can find for the RAF:
