Hi all.

I have a rather obscure request and I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this or point me in the right direction...I recently learned of a distant relative named Jackson Webb who flew as a pilot in World War 2. My very elderly grandmother-in -law told me he was a cousin of hers, but she wasn't able to give me very much in the way of specific details. All I know is that he was an American based in England, he signed up for flying training at the age of 17 by lying about his age and, according to her, he died of wounds received during a night bombing raid. I'm not aware the USAAF conducted night operations, so maybe he was an American serving in the RAF? I'm not sure.

I've searched for his name but so far I've had no results. If anyone can help I'd be MOST grateful!
