The theme for the 2014 WWII Heritage Days is "Honoring the Women of the Greatest Generation." - Hosted by the CAF Dixie Wing.

2014 is shaping up to be the best WWII Heritage Days yet. 80+ exhibitors and organizations have registered and hangar space is sold out. Over 370 participants and volunteers from Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina and North Carolina are joining forces to pay tribute to The Greatest Generation. Weather forecast calls for cloudy / blue skies.
We are going to host great speakers ( Bruce Gamble- Doug Keeney), a presentation of our P-63 restoration with a the lady who built it who actually help with the construction. The CAF Dixie Wing warbirds will be flying throughout the entire weekend! We have an amazing silent auction with one-of-a kind items: A Corsair photo by Paul Bowen signed by 7 pilots from the VMF-214 Blacksheep., items signed by the pilot who broke the sound barrier- B-25B model autographed by 4 Doolittle Raiders- A ride in a Stearman and in a Pitts Model 12. And many more items
