From what I remember the XBTC-1 was powered by an R-3350, and the XBTC-2 was powered by the R-4360. And the XBTC-2 was divided into one variant with conventional flaps and one with full-span duplex flaps.

I'm curious if anybody has any performance data on them

Duplex flaps are full-span flaps where the aileron also has a flap function. Sometimes they would have the bottom of the aileron hinge downward (top stays where it is and the bottom hinges down. You still have aileron up and down control. In practice, this caused several fatalities when asymmetric flap position made controlled flight impossible and the aircraft rolled continuously and crashed.

It's interesting how ideas can look good on paper, and work real bad in practice.
