zeamerseagerbeavers submitted a new resource:

Zeamer's Eager Beavers: The Incredible True Story - The inspirational real story of the famous crew, minus the myths and mistakes

This book, currently in e-book form but with a paperback version coming soon, is the culmination of over thirty years of research on my part into the Eager Beavers and the bomber war in the SW Pacific theater in the critical early period of 1942-1943. You can get a feel for the depth of my research in the Amazon listing:

The e-book is currently FREE as part of an Amazon...

I am currently re reading it as the last time was on a train going to and from Brisbane which is not ideal.

I am enjoying it more and finding parts that I had either missed or misread so I am pleased that I decided to do this.

I am also able to check out the websites that Clint lists in the text Part IV sources and these contain a wealth of new knowledge.

For example did you know that there are websites called Home | American Air Museum or USAF Unit Histories or World War II Database: Your WW2 History Reference Destination or Imperial Japanese Navy Air Force Pictures. I knew of none of those, and others he lists, and all are worth visiting.

ijnafphotos is a subdirectory of WarBird Photographs which is also well worth a browse.
