Actually not the Zeppelin but the Hindenburg D-LZ129 with the Olimpic rings and the name applied at the front of the airship. The Graf Zeppelin was registered as the LZ127. The Hindenburg twin was the LZ130 also named Graf Zeppelin and called the Graf Zeppelin II that was built to replace the aging LZ 127 Graf Zeppelin on the South American transatlantic route. Because of the olimpic rings applied the image has to be taken in 1936-1937 before the flight to the USA and its bad carsh there on the 6th May 1937. Judging by the harbor station building it is the Hafenbahnhof station at Friedrichshafen. The building and the harbour are still existing and using today. In 30' quite popular theme for postcards both with the airships and ferry steamers.
