Shown here is a line-up of Spitfire Mk.IIAs of No.65 (East India) Sqd based at Tangmere early in 1941. The nearest aircraft YT-C, (P7856) subsequently had a long career, serving in Nos. 616, 412, 310, and 416 Sqds and on operational training duties until 1945. Note that the presentation marking has now changed and has been somewhat embellished.
