Shown here is a rear view of Spitfire PR.Mk.IV, (BP888) of No.543 Sqd. Note the strengthening ribs, over the top of the wheel bays. Also, just visible are the wing-tip vents for the wing tanks, and the sighting stripe on the ailerons for the pilot when taking oblique camera photos.
