Hey everyone,
I've recently uploaded an episode of the Ufa Sound Week from March 1940, a German propaganda newsreel from WWII, onto my Youtube channel.

I thought this might be interesting for some of you. You can turn on English subtitles by clicking on the subtitles button in the bottom right...
I share with you a lot of pictures, some of them previously unreleased, rare and never before seen by me, referring to one of the secret weapons of the Luftwaffe. We are talking about the Horten flying wing. Perhaps, the aircraft of the Second World War the most ahead of its time than any other...
Historically the He177 had serious problems with its engines and they waited until August 1943 to order a four nacelle version, which took until December 1943 to enter testing. If ordered on January 1st 1941 how long would it have taken to redesign and build a 4 nacelle He177 for testing? And...

Would Supermarine getting a production contract for the Type 224 (most likely with a Kestrel engine and radiator) be a help or hindrance to Supermarine getting the Spitfire MkI into production.
I was wondering because before the Spit Supermarines were a Flying Boat and Seaplane maker and had...

I would look up climb rates on Wiki but we know how inaccurate Wiki can be. So it's a race to 40,000 feet. The only rule is the plane has to be war time production (no jets), it takes off, hits the throttle and climbs, full power.
