Hi All,

Well I "finished" my GTO model although truth be told I could have taken it further with the details (especially on the grill area and wheels). This kit to be blunt is poor. Fit in spots is a nightmare for a novice and the flash is EVERYWHERE. I didn't quite realize how terrible it was until I got my Hasegawa 1/48 P40-E which is beautiful in comparison.

I had worked really hard on the finish and destroyed it in spots with a single slip of gluing the bumpers. I ended up being extremely sloppy with the silver accents out of frustration and wanting to be done with the kit. Overall it didn't come out horrible and was a good refresher for the skills I'll need for doing planes. Here comes some pictures.

Thanks guys, I'm really excited to start on the P-40. Going to try and model is after the P-40 seen here.

Undecided if I'm going to use US roundels or the Chinese ones.
