Green on and masking removed...



Not too bad although the outdoor photo doesn't quite reflect the actual colour to the human eyeball!

Paints are Tamiya as those are the ones that behave best with my cheepo airbrush. I've used the same paints as seen in an Airfix Model World article, which looked good to my bleary eye! The flat earth in particular looks too light in the photo.

More gloss and then the dreaded decalling .

It's amazing how that brown changes with lighting. After having researched our Dark Earth RCAF Canadian equivalent for our Hurricane restoration, I cringe every time I see photos of the finished product, as it looks nothing like seeing it in person!
