Beauty Greg Masking.....my least favourite part of modelling. Just finished masking and spraying four colours on top. About to flip over and mask and spray three colours on the bottom. I need to find a kits that is one colour over-all next

Green on and masking removed...

Not too bad although the outdoor photo doesn't quite reflect the actual colour to the human eyeball!

Paints are Tamiya as those are the ones that behave best with my cheepo airbrush. I've used the same paints as seen in an Airfix Model World article, which looked good to my bleary eye! The flat earth in particular looks too light in the photo.

More gloss and then the dreaded decalling .

It's amazing how that brown changes with lighting. After having researched our Dark Earth RCAF Canadian equivalent for our Hurricane restoration, I cringe every time I see photos of the finished product, as it looks nothing like seeing it in person!

That camo came out pretty sharp. I thought the port stab was broken on first glance. It blended in with the "Marsten Matting"!

Some final weathering to do and adding the radio mast, rear view mirror and pitot tube, and it should be done!
