Some people don't want to see, some people need to learn to see, quite a mix!
I've done some thinking and I think I know what aircraft I'd like to do: BuNo 133710. The reason being, this aircraft has a somewhat interesting history (at least for me anyway). After use by the French, it was used in the TV series Baa Baa Black Sheep, and was mostly used as "Boyington's" aircraft, so it was often front and centre. After bouncing around a little bit, it was sold to a someone who then flew it out of Camrose, Alberta for about 20 years. I actually saw it at least once at an airshow around my area, but that was when I was a small child. I do have some film pictures of it.
Now while I have all of that info, I have exactly two pictures of it in French service, and they're both from the same day and that's immediately after (or possibly during) delivery to the French, and they lack any unit markings. I can't find a history of the aircraft in French service either, so I have no idea what squadron it was in or anything. There's a magazine article that goes through the history of all the aircraft that were in Baa Baa Black Sheep in Warbird Digest Issue 49, July/August 2013, and while I can get that back issue, I don't want to buy it unless I know it has the info I need in it, and not just "It served in the French Navy for X years." Unless one of you guys has it, I will try the open forum as well to see if anyone knows.
Anyhow, here are some photos of it. It is often mis-ID'd as 133714, but that is because its N number (which I do not know exactly what purpose it serves) was 33714.
