Thanks, other fuselage half done, just need to add the tail wheel and I can close it up.

I hate adding the tail wheel this early but whadayagonna do about it?

Geo said what I was thinking. I prefer kit engineering that allows one to add it at the end.

I have the fuselage closed up. The tail wheel came off, luckily in an orderly fashion as it just fell apart and didn't break so I just "rebuilt" it again. There are some wonky seams that don't line up real good and the piano hinge on the cowl broke off the sprue in 2 pieces. That happened last time I built an Eduard 109. I may build a Bf109F-4 but it will most likely be the 1/48 Zvezda kit.

I broke that hinge myself. Try wedge and tape some toothpicks or sprue around the tail wheel to protect it, about ¾" longer. I'm 2 for 3 doing this and the fail was for not doing it right

What kind of the putty have you used?

I use Tamiya Putty-white. All sanded and ready for more parts.

More parts, the instructions were a bit fuzzy but I think both exhausts had the long shields over the exhausts on night fighters.
