Hello again my fellow modelers:
This week has been a crazy one due to work, but then and then I found time to continue with the project. Also it was great that today the He 177 radio equipment arrived safe and sound.... It's incredible how difficult has been to find the aftermarket gadgets that supposedly are to be found in the world market ......
So, this week it was dedicated to complete the recently 3d printed little crew guys, guns and O2 masks in order to proceed to close as soon as possible the fuselage halves.
First the advance with the pilot.... The first three images corresponds to the nearly completed subassembly and the fourth image corresponds to the dry fit advance where the legs were located with its pedals in order to make the final glueing of this guy (with his seat) to the cabin floor. I tried to emulate the motion that he's watching the work of the bombardier at his right....
Then it was time for the bombardier that supposedly is handling with its right hand the joystick (still in process) of one Hs 293..... so I found time to pose this guy as follows:
Then it was time for the Belly gunner, that again the body of a soviet soldier was used to complete the model. First the image of the dry fitting works and then the finished guy....
Then the advance with the B1 stand guy handling his gun joysticks (still to be located), well seated and behaved in his station.......
Now meet the B2 office that also received a blue light and the idea is that somewhere between his body and arms, you will appreciate some detail of the fuselage interior...
Now the image of the guy manning his gun and I tried to emulate all the motors bullets and gadgets of this battle station.... BTW, no legs needed.
and then two images of the completed station before receiving the clear part that I found that it's quite thick, but it's what you receive from MPM....
Then it it's time for the rear gunner office that also was located and presented with his final clear part and his gun.
And this is how it looks outside its station:
Well, these six little guys are ready for service and eager to be located in its kite.....

Hello my fellow modelers:
After a rather quite busy week, I worked in several details that I wanted to emulate as soon as possible, before closing the fuselage halves.
First the riveting works. After receiving a new rivet tool, I tried to swap the riveting works as far I can appreciate in the detail photos of this kite. For instance, in the upper fuselage, it appears that the width of the maintenance catwalk was limited with several protruding rivets in order to guarantee that the blue maintenance guy will not fall while walking this "aisle".
So, the .08 rivet tool was used for this catwalk as can be appreciated in the green strip as can be appreciated in the following image.
Then the .05 rivets were applied as evenly as possible in the existing lines that comes along in the fuselage, as can be appreciated in the red strip.
And the smaller .03 rivets were applied for the multitude of rivets found all along the fuselage, and for example in the photo where the blue strips are represented:
I rather prefer to perform this work before glueing the two halves due that with the riveter pressure in the fuselage while being worked, most likely will destroy several details that has already been applied in the interior. And no, that will not do......
Then it was time to test the interior lights before closing the fuselage and proceed with the welding works. It has happened in the past project that some lights failed at the worst possible moment.............
. (BTW, in one 1/72 Dune Ornithopter).
So, this is the final location of the lightning scope for this kite.
Cockpit main light:
Then the radio area received a red light, that guess it will give a nice contrast to the cockpit interior...... (I don't know, but this red light sometimes reminds me of the Seaview from the Voyage to the bottom of the sea series )....
Then the B-2 gun stand office light:
The tail gunner also has a light, but that station is still on process of receiving a more detailed rivet work scheduled for this next week.....
Also the wing will receive the rivet works during this period giving more attention to the engine cowlings.......
