My pleasure. I have edited your post a little bit. If you want to upload a picture at a correct location you should write your text firstly. Then hit the Enter key to move the cursor to the new line. Then you can attach your image(s). In the way the writting is displayed above the shot. The same way you can use for the text for displaying below an image. Set the cursor just behind the pic and hit the Enter button. Then write the text.. You can use the BB code editor insted of the default one. It is accessed with the small icon at the top bar on the right ( the icon with the key ). It shows the pure text of posts without pictures displayed.

I'm not sure why. The reason for that may be the pic header. If an image was taken 90 degrees clockwise , the data is attached to that and is the source for creating its way of displaying on a screen.

Here you have a view of both post editors ...

the default one ...

and the BB one ...

And I have checked on the pic rotating again. I downloaded your images rotated and all of them were displayed by the Irfanview n the way you posted. It means that you took them rotated and the data was attached to the picture header causing the effect. You have to rotate them manually before saving and posting.

The picture you have posted and used was not rotated at any time by me, it should be rotated 90 degrees clockwise to show it's original orientation as it was taken.
I posted a pic in the Recent purchases and this has also showed up in a different orientation to how it was taken, cropped and downsized to post on the forum...?

Have you rotated your camera when taking the pic? For instance... in order to keep the view of the wing on the camera displayer? And what did you use for the pic cropping and resizing?

Not sure now you say that, but Pretty sure I didn't with most of them, and i just noticed that i posted 9 pics in that thread and there are some that have posted twice...for a total of 14?

OK. Sometimes we can turn camera right or left in order to see the entire object displayed on the camera screen. It is because the camera displayer isn't a square but a rectangle in shape.. Could you post the origin picture I used as an example.?

The microsoft office 2010 is what i use I crop the image resize it to what I want and save it.
Here is that original image, before editing.

As we can notice the origin image is of the same orientation the cropped shot is. Ok I downloaded that pic. It means that the MO 2010 didn't save it properly. I don't know if you rotated the shot with that soft before cropping but for sure the data wasn't saved. It is very likely the MO2010 has its preferences set just without that or just uses the orientation of the original image as the default one. Or it uses the option of the best fitting to a page or something like that for displaying/printing etc.... In other words the problem has been caused by your soft and not by the forum one.
I use the Irfanview for working with pictures and no problems at all with that. The cropped and rotated shot....

I've been experiencing the same with pics showing more than once, and I've noticed it in other member's threads too.
Maybe a slight 'glitch' in the system?
Still not too keen on this 'new' photo up-load/management system, and when viewing, it's only possible to view one pic at a time, in the 'slide show' presentation of the pics. It doesn't seem to be possible to scroll up and down to view, for example, two pics in a post, such as when judging the GBs, as could easily be done with the 'old' system.

Looking good Wayne. There is an option for thumbnails, which are shown in slide form and for the full size photo to be shown. I accidentally used the thumbnails for two of three posts in the Recently Purchased section because I re-edited the photos about 4 times.

Yep .. if you click a thumbnail of a pic you will open the image browser . With that one you may browse all pictures uploaded to a post. So.. uploading and displaying of pictures as thumbnails is a nice way. Pages can be uploaded / displayed and scrolled faster.

I'm struggling a bit with it too, to be honest. Nice enhancements though.

Wojtek, the thing about the small images is that, if you post them throughout the thread with explanations in between, it defeats the purpose because the only way to properly view them is with the slide show or as the separate window. I prefer the full sized pics with words in between.

I agree with that. I prefer the way too. However I noticed that uploaded pics of full size make screen scrolling quicker. Also uploading pages is slower.
