1/72 Beech 17 Staggerwing and 18 Twin Beech

Here's me in jumping back into my old WW2 "Bamboo Fleet" builds. This time, the 1/72 (Sword) Staggerwing and (Kitech) Twin Beech/C-45 Expeditor. These aircraft were part of the civilian fleet that were commandeered by the USAAC to serve as transport for the beleaguered allied forces in the Philippines. These were used to evacuate people and ferry supplies to and from Bataan, Corregidor and other islands south of Manila to keep up the morale of the American and Filipino forces left behind to endure the ensuing Japanese occupation.
