Valom kit, my first venture into the arcane world of Czech limited-run jobbies. Threw up a few challenges but nothing major.

I think this plane is quite pretty, in an ugly sort of way. Not much loved by pilots though, apparently. It's kind of a big plane with the proportions of a small plane (actually the "Firebrick" was originally conceived as a two-seater), looks like a 1/48 on the shelf somehow.

Cheers!

The Valom kit was pretty good. Very good fit actually, hardly any filler, bit of minor flash but no big deal. I had to do a bit of trimming to get the fuselage and the wing to fit together well. I fell out with the vacformed canopy, bit flimsy and it ended up all cloudy which is a shame. There weren't many decals but what there was went on beautifully. I have their Walrus in the stash.
