Glued the wing on and I have got Lego props keeping the wing level a shot bag over the top in line with the wheels keeping everything stable and a set square to check the horizontal and vertical.
If you're going to buy this kit try and make sure you get the original made in England by Lesney Matchbox. As the mould tools got moved about to different countries quality dropped.
It's a very simple kit but beautifully moulded with zero flash and distortion. Plenty of modern kit makers could take lessons in how to design a mould so that the sprues don't attach to the parts in visible and awkward to clean up places.
Still not entirely sure what colours I will paint the topsides but I have started on the underside with a coat of Hellblau. Or rather my mix of 9 parts Vallejo 71.121 Gull Grey and 1 part of 71.090 Deep Sky. Looks a touch to blue I might try 10 parts to 1
I was thinking of just trying the Bronze Green on its own then experiment with grey and black additions. It will annoy the purists no doubt but mixing my own colour is quite fun
