There are three photos of the recovered aircraft cockpit in the book and the fabric looks to be a very light brown or tan

That's another book I've long wanted to get. Too expensive though.

According to the book Japanese Aircraft Interiors 1940-1945 by Robert Mikesh ".....the instrument panels were black and the surrounding metal components of the fuselage structure and controls were a common green, which appears to approximate N.33....The sides of the cockpit, which consists of the fabric outer covering, have been left in their natural state"

That's right, according to the book it says the color is approximately N33, in the images it's similar to Mitsubishi green, I'll see if I can find images of the interior of the survivor.
I'll take advantage of this topic to gather information about the plane, such as images and data, to detail the interior, since it needs to be detailed because it's so small.

I am building a Willow too. By the way I have difficulties to find which color were the interiors. Anybody knows that? Many thanks.

Investigating the interior color, it appears to be similar to the N33. It seems the color is close to FS34097. Cross-referencing the Munsell code with the FS numbers yields something similar to the mentioned color, but this would be a modern color. If you want to make it more faithful to the era of the N33, you should use the interior green from Nakajima or Mitsubishi, such as the Gunze C15 or C126, the Tamiya XF71 or XF76... AK Interactive has a direct color reference with the Nakijima interior color M3 AK 11987 or RC957

Many thanks to all guys. I´m absolutely agree with fubar57, at least that is what I was thinking. I guess that I will paint the fabric interior in their natural color maybe a tan with a very lightly orange hint because the trasluscent effect.

The one I make later in this thread I will paint in khaki, the lower part but the upper part in N33, since the upper part was metal.
Now I'm focused on finding images, diagrams, or sketches of the cockpit, to make everything as detailed as possible.
