Helmut Störchel, III/KG-4 (5/39), III/KG-30 (10/40), Stfkpt in III/KG-30 (2/42), Kdr III/KG-30 (1/43), He 111, Ju 88A-4 Werk # 213 (75% dam 7/12/43) in KG-30, Injured in a taxiing accident at Littoria 12 July, 1943, rest of the unnamed crew OK (Ju 88 Loss List). He replaced Major Werner Baumbach as Kdr KG-30. Approximatley 300 combat missions. Deceased 5 February, 2004 in Ingolstadt.
 
Fw. Wolfgang Knobloch, 5/JG-300 "Herrmann" (7/43), 8/JG-300, Fw 190A-5/U2 Werk # 710013 (80% dam 26/07/43), Bf 109G-6 (lost 05/08/44 loc.unk.), Crashed due to fuel shortage at the Rheine airfield, with severe wounds, 26 July, 1943, after sustaining damage from fighter escorts and Britisn bomber return fire during the Essen raid. WIA 5 August, 1944 near Bremervörde, bailed successfully from his G-6 after combat with American fighters. One known victory, a "4 mot Flzg." at Essen on 26 July, 1943.

Werner Poppenburg, 7/KG-51 (10/41 S.U.), TO II/KG-101, 10/JG-301 (11/44), Stfkpt 5/JG-301 (12/44) JU 88A-4 Werk # unk "9K + AD" (8/23/42 in 7/KG-51), Fw 190A-9 Werk # 205913 "White 2" (lost 05/12/44), KIA 5th of December, 1944 during aerial combat with P-51s near Angermünde in "White 2". Two known victories, both B-24s S of Hannover on 26th of November, 1944 (OKL). Another source, Rene Millert, states Poppenburg downed three B-24s in five minutes this date. Rene confirms the award of DK-G, EP, Russian Front Medal, Romanian Medal Against Communisn and the Bomber Operational Clasp in Gold for 216 missions in KG-51. While in KG-51, on 23rd of August, 1942, he rescued Maj Ernst Bibra (RK 23/12/42) and crew who had been hit by flak and made an emergency landing behind Russian lines. Poppenburg most likely qualified for a Fighter Operational Clasp also.

Heinrich Heinz Würzer, 1/JG-302 (11/43), Stfkpt 1/JG-302 (01/44), Kdr I/JG-302 (03/44), III/JG-301 (09/44) Bf 109G-6 Werk# 441613 "White 1" (dam 07/44), Fw 190A-8 in IIIJG-301, Opposed the 6th of March, 1944 Berlin Raid. Scored two victories this date, his 8th & 9th, both B-17s, one over Berlin, the other, no location. WIA 8th of July 1944 most likely from B-24s he was opposing on this date. Despite his wounds, he made an emergency landing in Wk# 441613 near Götzendorf airfield. One known victory, a Halifax W of Berlin on 20th of January, 1944. A 2nd, a B-17th on 30th of January. His 4th, a B-24 on 10th of February. His 5th, a B-17 at Seesen on 20th February. His 6th, a B-17 on 22nd of February. His 9th, a B-17 north of Quackenbrück on 6th of March. His 11th & 12th, both B-24s on 8th of March, no locations. A P-51 over Romania on 5th of April. Two B-17s on 9th of April, no location. His 15th & 16th, both B-24s at Neuseidler See on the 10th of May. His 20th, a B-24 (HSS) SSW of Sankt-Pölten on 29th of May. A double on 16th of June; both B-24s at Mor, SE of Raab. Nos. 25 & 26, another double, a B-24 and a B-24 (HSS) at Essling/Wien on 8th of July.

Maj. Aloysius "Alois" Becker, III/StG-77, 1/JG-26 (joins 08/44), Ju 87, Fw 190A-8 Werk # 175127 "White 13" (lost), KIA on the 27th of September, 1944 in his "White 13" during aerial combat with a Spitfire of RAF No. 411 Sq. W of Emmerich-Spijk. On the 27th of September 1944 his Staffel was near enemy lines at the German-Dutch border. Becker, flying his Focke Wulf Fw 190 A-8 (Werkn. 175127, Kennz. 'Weiße 13'), got involved in a dogfight with one of the British fighters. Above Emmerich, his aircraft was hit and Becker was forced to jump out of his aircraft but did not manage to release his parachute. He was hit by the tail of his own aircraft, falling to earth unconscious and was instantly killed. He also had 253 missions as a Dive Bomber pilot in StG-77...

Erwin Emil Leykauf, 7, 8, 9 and 12 Staffels/JG-54, Stab III/JG-54 (09/42 S.U.), 12/JG-26, Adj III/JG-26, Stfkpt 11/JG-54 (09/43), Bf 109E-3 Werk # 1572 "Black 3" (Calais 09/40), Bf 109E-4, & F-2 Werk # 6788 "Black 3" (July 41 Ostrow) all in 8/JG-54,"E" "White 12"(7/JG-54),Bf 109F-4Werk # 7492 "Black 1" (3/42), Bf 109G-2 Werk # 13613 (lost; WIA 29/09/42), "G-6"Red 11"12/JG-26, 551 combat missions. His first known victory, a Gladiator at Tongeren 10 May, 1940. His 2nd, a Spitfire on the 12th of August, 1940, no location. His 3rd, a Hurricane at Canterbury on the 28th of August, 1940. His 4th, a Spitfire on the 30th of August, 1940, no location. His 5th, a Spitfire in the Dover-Folkestone area on the 2nd of September, 1940. Emil crashed in his Bf 109G-6 "Red 11" trying to takeoff during a bombing raid on Lille-Vendeville on the 14th of May, 1943. He was uninjured. He was also known to fly the Fw 190. While in JG-54, on the 23rd of June, 1941, he shot down six Soviet bombers in one day in his Bf 109G. An I-18 on the 13th of November, 1941. An R-5 on the 14th of June, 1942. He downed six R-5s on the 22nd of June, 1942. A Pe-2 on the 7th Auofgust, 1942. An Il-2 on the 7th of September, 1942. An Il-2 on the 9th of September, 1942. On the 29th of September, 1942, while in JG-54, he was shot down in a Bf 109G-2 Werk# 13613 (lost), and listed as MIA, but returned shortly thereafter. An Il-2 on the 15th of September, 1943. A Boston III on the 17th of March, 1944. He is also known to have flown Bf 109E-4 "Black 3" in 8/JG-54 in October, 1940. Flew Fw 190As in JG-26. Also served in JG-7, flying the Me 262. Deceased 7 September, 2007.
