Oblt. Bruno Hellig, Erg/NJG-2 (5/43), Stab IV/NJG-3 (4/44), Stab III/NJG-2 (1/45), Bf 110, Ju 88C-6 Werk # 620513 "4R + CD" (lost 1/45), KIA 6 January, 1945 when on an operational flight, he attempted an emergency landing in a field near Horsbyg, 12 km northwest of Aabenraa Denmark. On the approach, the AC hit a hill and snapped off the tail assembly and cartwheeled, killing the crew of four. Remaining crew (KIA): Uffz Günther Kulas, R/O; Gefr Johann Goliasch, R/O and Ofw Horst Jauernig, Gunner. All were buried in the Fiedenshügel Cemetery in Flensburg (Source: Air War over Denmark). One known victory, a Stirling on 26 May, 1943. A double victory on 19 April, 1944; two Stirlings, one W of Haderslev, the other W of Rome Island. Two "4 mots" at Niedermendig on 29 July, 1944.

Fritz Karl Friedrich Schlossstein, 1(Z)/JG-77 (11/41), Stfkpt 13(Z)/JG-5 (03/42), Stfkpt 10(Z)/JG-5 (05/42), Kdr I/ZG-101, Kdr II/ZG-76, Kdr IV/JG-54(03/45), Bf 110F-2 Werk # 5019 (08/42 lost- flak) & Bf 110G-2 Wk# 5213 (50% dam 14/03/43; overturned in a squall) in Z/JG-5, Ju 88 in ZG-101, Fw 190A-8 in JG-54. WIA (injured) 14 March, 1943 landing accident in Wk# 5213 at Kirkenes Norway airfield after an operational flight. His R/O, Fw Gerhard Friedrich was also injured (Source: SIG Norway). A Stfkpt in 13/ZG-76 in the Summer of 1944, he rescued two crew members, Gross, the pilot, and Gerhard Sarodnik, R/O, when they were downed in their Bf 110. Kdr I/ZG-101 in June, 1944. Thought to be the last Commander of II/ZG-76. 300+ combat missions. One known victory, his 5th, a MiG-3 on 10 May, 1943 over the Notowki Bight.

Ofw. Gerhard Winkler, 3/ZG-2 (Amiens), Bf 110C-4 Werk # 3113 "3M + EL" (lost 03/09/40), POW 3 September, 1940 after aerial combat with Hurricanes of No.17 Sq. Both he and his Gnr Gefr Oscar Weiler bailed safely at Pudsey Hall Farm, Canewdon near Rayleigh, Essex.

Erhard Witzke, 4/ZG-26 (5/41 Crete; 10/41 S.U.), Bf 110E-1 Werk # 3928 "3U + IM" (lost 16/05/41), Bf 110E-2 Werk # 4513 "3U + EM" (lost 07/10/41), MIA with unnamed crew 7 October, 1941 at Schikowka, cause unknown. POW 16 May, 1941 during aerial combat. Shot down by Flt Lt Fry of RAF No. 112 Sq. Witzke ditched at sea and was rescued, wounded. His Gunner, Fw Karl Reinhardt, got Fry in return. Freed after capture of Crete.
