The six U.S. Navy Sikorsky SH-3H Sea King helicopters (BuNos: NK-610 151543; NK-611 149905; NK-612 149906; NK-613 149738; NK-614 148990; NK-615 151549) from Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron 12 (HS-12) "Wyverns" in flight over Southern California (USA) on 21 Septermber 1983. HS-12 had been assigned to Carrier Air Wing 14 (CVW-14) aboard the aircraft carrier USS Coral Sea(CV-43) for a deployment to the Western Pacific and the Indian Ocean from 21 March to 12 September 1983. HS-12 was then reassigned to CVW-5 aboard USS Midway (CV-41).

1967 - An A4-E of the VA-155 Silver Foxes loaded with Air Force M117 750 lb. GP bombs loaded on the inboard wing stations and a TER (triple ejector rack) with three MK-82 500 lb. bombs loaded on the centerline station is turning up in preparation for launch aboard USS Coral Sea CVA-43.
That helo HS-4 is my old squadron, I believe this is a D model, I crewed the A version.
It went aboard the Carl Vinson after I left.
The color changed from the Dark Blue Black and International Orange to the sea gray.
