The Dawn Patrol Rendezvous is back this year - Sept. 22 & 23, 2018 in Dayton, Ohio. I went a few years ago and it was a great event. 75-100% replicas flying alternating with beautiful, large-scale RC models. I lost track of my wife and daughter for awhile. Found them in a tent playing Wings of Glory - it was great. Also saw a rotary engine fire up. It smells good - a little like the old control-line .049 engines.
