A uneven encounter I must say, the british battlecruisers were smashed to pieces by the teutonic "giosse kreuzers" ( wich in fact were fast battleships but armed with slightly lesser guns) i always wondered a great "what if", such as the 1 vs 1 encounter of 13,5 and 15 inch british dreadnoughts against the fast german 12 inch battleships,that encounter bever happened, that battle was fought in stages,it was never a full clash of warships.
if you had read some account abou the battle you will find my next statement ludricrous but it was true, british magazines lacked some seriuos armor.
