I'm hoping y'all can help me with a bit of research! I'm looking for a book/story about Hermann Goring trying to motivate his staff and pilots at the beginning of Adlertag and he was too fat to fit into a Messerschmitt(?) cockpit. This might have been OOA Saturday, 7 September, while he and Kesselring stood with their staffs on the cliffs of Cap Blanc-Nez to watch the Luftwaffe head toward London. I've read this account somewhere but cannot recall the source! Anybody have any info on this? Atldude
