This article is on a different type of AI fail - for the American control and marketing of AI.
I think it can be summarised as below.
The US administration refuses to put controls on AI because they want to be the world leader in AI and will ignore the AI industries own calls for controls because winning this "war" is the only thing that matters to them, with the secondary requirement being that AI is highly profitable.
China currently believes the open source model is preferable and that some control is desirable. Open source means there are no profits directly generated by the AI. If you use the Chinese AI on line then, like with the US AI, the Chinese government will be able to see everything that you do with that AI.
The US model is only accessible from cloud servers in the US which means that everything you do with American AI can be viewed by the US administration. No exceptions.
The Chinese model means you can download the software to your computer, take that computer off line and do all your "design" work without any leakage on to the internet and that information is therefore not accesalbe to the US or Chinese governments. So if you are designing a better (insert product here) the current Chinese versions are your only guarantee of secrecy.
The fact that large US companies are using the Chinese AI instead of the American AI is, to me, a very strong indication that the Chinese have already won this "war".

Not sure if they were ever called a "Falcon", but Ford did make a series of hi-rise cabs (nothing like that AI bullsh!t pictured) between 1961 and 1965, called the H-series, the largest were the H-950 and H-1000.

Falcon was a Ford sedan series from the 60's to 2010 or there abouts.

In North America, the Ford Falcon was available between 1959 and 1970.

In Aus the Falcon was a full size car that was manufactured by Ford from 1960 to 2016.
