Hi Wurger its a Mark IV

It looks like the one for Hurricane dated 1944. This is the Mark IXF* REF 6A/589. But your indicator is dated 1942. So it may be its earlier variant. The gauge was used for Spitfire and Hurricane.

Thanks I actually took a closer look at the markings with a magnifying glass and its the same Mark as yours IXF*

No problemo. Your indicator is for the speed in knots so it may indicate the Seafire or Sea Hurricane. The dial indicate the speed up to 400-420 Knots.

Note that gauges like this could have been used on multiple different aircraft. Unless there is some provenance associated with your example it would be next to impossible to say exactly what type it came from.

The gauge goes up to 420 kts. Pretty damn fast for a glider.
