Hi Wurger its a Mark IVWhat mark of the gauge?
It looks like the one for Hurricane dated 1944. This is the Mark IXF* REF 6A/589. But your indicator is dated 1942. So it may be its earlier variant. The gauge was used for Spitfire and Hurricane.

Great thanks your a world of knowledgeNo problemo. Your indicator is for the speed in knots so it may indicate the Seafire or Sea Hurricane. The dial indicate the speed up to 400-420 Knots.
Those airspeeds seem remarkable slow - What were they used in (Glider?)It looks like the one for Hurricane dated 1944. This is the Mark IXF* REF 6A/589. But your indicator is dated 1942. So it may be its earlier variant. The gauge was used for Spitfire and Hurricane.
