Stores Ref: 5D/1553

Can anyone shed some info on this part please, searched everywhere thanks.

The 5D indicates the electrical equipment. It looks like a five point selector switch. The Ref: 5D/1554 was a lamp tester ( landing and/or nav lamps ). So it may be a switch for these. Trying to finding more.

1553 - I'm not sure, as it's post-war.

According to the site posted above by GG its a 5D Armament - Bombing Equipment switch.
