This part is great:

The Serna "unsuccessfully fought for survivability, but also sank."
This war against Ukraine has to be the worst ship/men losses for the Russian navy since the Russo-Japanese War of 1904-05 (14 battleships, 11 cruisers, 23 destroyers sunk or captured). Is there an updated list of naval losses? Wikipedia only goes up to Nov 4th. Perhaps it will be updated today.

I look forward to the Kronos entering service.

I agree. But since Jan 2022, Ukraine has benefited by close to half a trillion US$ in financial, material and military aid, including over $100 billion in weapons, kit and ammunition from the US and others. For perspective, the entire UK defence budget is about $60 billion. For how long and how much did Ukraine expect the US to fund Ukraine's defence? By this time next year when the Abrams, Vipers and more kit arrives, total aid will be closing in on one trillion $. And yet still Ukraine's population is mostly on a civilian footing, with about 700,000 people in uniform of about forty million people. During WW2, here in Canada, over one million served in uniform out of eleven million Canadians. Ukraine needs to mobilize its people and seize what it can before the US aid runs out.
