I remember when the Soviet Union broke up, their war plan vs China was leaked.
Day 1: Kill 1 million Chinese.
Day 2: Kill 2 million Chinese.
Day 3: Kill 3 million Chinese.
Day 4: Surrender.

Yeah, that's the thing that is scary with China. You can wipe out roughly a billion people with nukes an theoretically they would still have hundreds of millions left to beat you with. I know it isn't that simple but the fact is still that quantity has a quality all of its own.
