One wonders how hard it would be to add a cheap guidance system, like an Arduino or Raspberry Pi with a GPS module and forward-located control fins on something like a SNEB or HVAR.
Why is Denmark selling some of its F-16s to Argentina when Ukraine needs all of them? Money of course, but Ukraine will do more for NATO's and Danish defence than the Argies.

I would have thought that by now, Ukraine are in a position to teach France and any other NATO country about the use of Artillery.

This is an interesting development. Helicopters seem to be one of the prime defences against this kind of threat.
