Yep, now that Assad is no longer in control of a nation that Putin finds useful (the only ports in the Eastern Med.), his days are numbered, since he's excess baggage and a media spotlight.

So now, the voting pool is open - Assad dies from:
1) falling up a flight of stairs and out an open window
2) suicide
3) suicide by pistol, stopping to reload
4) live grenade tossing game with friends
5) sudden heart attack
6) smoking accident
7) drowning incident
8) feeling ill after tea-time

Bonus:
Entire family dies by mysterious blunt-force trauma.
I'll take 9) All of the above. ........

Being dragged out of a car by a murderous mob? I know it's a long shot but I believe that's Putin's biggest fear. This was after Wacky Khaddafi's "removal" from power.
Gotta' love the classics.
Or Mussolini's end.

On the otherhand, it was the police and ultimately the army that grabbed Ceaușescu.

re quality of North Korean troops (particularly SOF) in Russia/Ukraine area

This is from an unclassified intel report:
NKPA SOF pg1.jpg

NKPA SOF pg2.jpg

re whether NKPA troops have been engaged in the Ukraine area or not.

I do not know why there seems to be a question about this. NKPA SOF small units have already attempted to infiltrate and recon Ukraine positions, and some have been killed during the attempt. This was first reported nearly a month ago - with pictures of some of the NKPA dead.

Also, as I mentioned in my post#35,447 "All of Vlad's forces and all of Vlad's men, are out to put Humpty together again."

Although I suppose they are trying to say that the NKPA troops were killed in rear areas and/or killed by indirect weapon/artillery as opposed to with LOS weapons?
