"Spread out, spread out!" Jesus, isn't that basic infantry training?
Well, yes but aparently, Russia never recieved the memo.

I cannot believe how many videos I've seen in the past three years, where Russian regulars have bunched up, only to be cut down by emplaced Ukrainian HMGs, arty or drones.

Another absurd spectacle, is troops riding atop AFVs in an active combat zone. Just recently, there was a Russian BMP covered in riders that took direct fire and I swear to god, one Russian ragdolled over a hundred feet in the air.

Right. Another egregious tactical FUBAR we've seen is Russians sending unaccompanied tanks into close urban quarters ... like no one ever told them that tanks and intersections are really not conducive to success without skirting infantry.

At this point, I'm pretty sure that any Russian AFV is becoming an endangered species.

Armor really cannot operate without adequate air and ground security. That recent video of a lone Ukrainian Leopard 2A4 cimpletely mauling a Russian armored column from a treeline stands in testimony of that fact. Adding insult to injury, the survivors who managed to escape their machines, were picked off by FPV drones.

Even more insane: they actually learned that lesson in Grozny in the first Chechnya war. Apparently, none of the survivors of that fiasco thought to pass on any pointers......

The Soviet Red Army advisors in Iraq were able to see first hand how their doctrine was horribly flawed.

The sh!t show in Ukraine is literally WWII tactics v2.0 and shows they have not learned a damn thing in 80 years.
